Operating Committees
Finance Committee. The
Finance Committee is comprised of the President-elect, Secretary, Treasurer
(Chairperson), and one other Regular Member appointed by the President.
The purpose of the Finance Committee is to:

Review revenues, expenditures,
and budgets and make recommendations to the Executive Committee.

Prepare an annual audit statement
for submission to the Executive Committee and membership.

Prepare and submit to the Executive
Committee a plan for financing the long range plans of the Association.
-
Maintain in good standing the
CTA’s IRS non-profit status and applicable organizational status.
Membership Committee.
The Membership Committee is comprised of Regular and Associate Members
appointed by the President-elect, who chairs this committee. The number
of committee members shall be prescribed by the Executive Committee
The purpose of the Membership Committee is to work under the direction
of the Executive Committee to:

Broaden the membership of the
Association;

Develop and maintain the membership
process;

Maintain the roster of members;
-
Administer other membership-related
functions as directed by the Executive Committee.
Programs Committee. The
programs Committee is comprised of Regular and Associate Members appointed
by the President and confirmed by the Executive Committee. The chairperson
of the Programs Committee shall be appointed by the President. The purpose
of the Programs Committee is to oversee all aspects of the development
of the program portion of Association meetings.
Awards Committee.
The Awards Committee is comprised of Regular and Associate Members appointed
by the president and confirmed by the Executive Committee. The purpose
of the Awards Committee is to determine on-going policies and procedures
associated with the CTA awards program and make recommendations to the
Executive Committee. It will also call for and receive nominations for
the awards, carefully consider them and make recommendations to the Executive
Committee for winners.
Research and Publications
Committee. The Research and Publications Committee is comprised of
Regular and Associate Members appointed by the President and confirmed
by the Executive Committee. The purpose of the Research & Publications
Committee is to coordinate all research publications, monitor technology
interest group research and review proposals for publications.
Corporate Leadership Council.
The Corporate Leadership Council is comprised of Corporate members and
one Ex-officio Regular Member. The Purpose of the Corporate Leadership
Council is:

To represent the Association's
Corporate Membership.

To increase communication among
the corporate members.

To acclimate new corporate members
to the culture of the Association.

To develop procedures for the
selection of the Council Chairperson and its Members.
All policies and procedures
of the Corporate Leadership Council must be approved by the CTA Executive
Committee. The CTA President will appoint a Regular Member to serve as
a non-voting member of t he Corporate Leadership Council. The Chairperson
of the Corporate Leadership Council will serve as a non-voting, member
of the CTA Executive Committee.
