Annual Committees
Three Annual Committees are established to support the
Annual business Meeting, of the Association.
Nominations Committee.
The members of the Nominations Committee shall be appointed by the President
in consultation with the Executive Committee. The Committee shall be comprised
of the Past President and two Regular Members, only one of whom may be
a member of the Executive Committee. The Past-President shall serve as
chairperson. The purpose of the Nominations Committee is to present
qualified nominees for each Office for election at the Annual Business
Meeting and make nominations for reduced terms of office as needed.
The Chairperson of the Nominations Committee shall present the nominees
to the Executive Committee members not later than 45 days prior to the
scheduled Annual Business Meeting to allow for getting names out to the
membership at least 30 days before the meeting.
Resolutions Committee.
The Resolutions Committee shall be comprised of the President-elect, two
Regular and Associate Members. The committee members shall be appointed
by the President to serve at the Annual Business Meeting
The Purpose of the Resolutions
Committee is to finalize and present to the membership resolutions to be
voted upon and possibly presented to the ACA.
Credentials Committee.
The President-elect will serve as Chairperson, and with four Regular Members
will certify those eligible to vote and to resolve disputes related to
the recognition of delegates.
